The angle of items held in-hand in VR appears incorrect. They look as though they should be held in the left hand rather than the right. E.g. for pickaxe the pick, held in the right hand, also points to the right. This results in the use-item animation causing the side of the pickaxe to strike toward the centre of the screen, rather than the head of the pick.
This seems to be a simple mesh angle position error. Would it be possible to fix this? While not game-breaking, it does ruin the immersion.

Not the original poster but can confirm it's still in the latest version (1.17.41). It's also being tracked in MCPE-129366
I am also affected and have attached a video of the wrong angle: "minecraft_angle_bug.mp4". This bug seems to be restricted to "tools," because in this video, the torch is held and rotates at a correct angle when attacking. You can compare the angles of the shovel, sword, etc. to see how their rotation is off.

Can confirm this issue is still a thing. It also affects the hand model.
Only thing unaffected is the blocks.
