[MCPE-141618] Sou sand won't generate bubbles for water elevator on Xbox series x

I've tried all generic and common fixes for water elevators but none of it works and my soul sand doesn't produce bubbles. I've tried individually placing water source blocks to the top of the elevator as well as using kelp. Either way the soul sand is not producing bubbles on series X.

Have you changed the Random Tick Speed setting?
Are you using any other non-vanilla survival world settings?

I haven’t changed anything from the default settings or world settings.

You are actually using soul soil, not soul sand. That is why a bubble column is not generating.
