While looking in a chest or inventory, and then getting pushed through a nether portal, you will not be able to look in your inventory, open chests, or trade with villagers. The inventory and chests can be fixed with rejoining, but villagers you attempted to trade while experiencing the bug will not be able to trade anymore.
