When attempting to launch the Minecraft app after the version update to 1.17.30, the app opens to the red Mojang screen as normal, then goes to a black screen for several seconds before the app closes again. After closing all apps and rebooting the tablet, the issue remains unchanged.
EDIT: Attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app. No change and still will not launch.
