When updated to 1.17.30 I found my world to be a little more laggy than usual. Also when creating a new world, especially with the cave and cliffs toggle, it takes an extremely long time to load the world.

Could you please provide more details or/and media files. As such we have no repro of this issue.
Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.40)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).

I have this same issue but only in experimental mode. Chunks take forever to load and world generation takes forever
