After loading a world for the first time, I am unable to load that world again. (Renaming that world temporarily solves that issue, but not a complete fix.)
It just says “Loading Resources” infinitely.

Could you please provide more details or/and media files. As such we have no repro of this issue.
Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.41)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).

I am also suffering with the same issue. But it happened right after the skin wardroom update that came within the last week. Now I cannot even download new world or already placed world I had before the update.
