Your inventory, if in creative, will be replaced with the default stairs and saplings if you rejoin a multiplayer world.

Sorry, I could not reproduce this in 0.14.2 using any combination of the following devices as server/client:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920W8), Android 5.1.1

  • Asus B121 Tablet touch & pen enabled, Win10 Pro (64-bit) v1511 b10586.318

  • Apple iPad3 (MC705C/A) iOS 9.3.1 (13E238)

Doesn't mean the bug isn't happening, but we need more details to help us reproduce it.
