I just made an anvil to enchant my bow and my fishing rod I just used it for 3 times and it disappeared it is so frustrating I used my precious iron to made it. Plz resolve it

This should be pretty rare. Have you had this anvil incident 1 time? Or does each new anvil break 3 times? If this happened 1 time and does not repeat itself (several times in a row), then it was done on purpose. MC-142888

Surprisingly, this is intentional. Anvil breaking is rng, with a 12% chance to become damaged every use. Being damaged three times breaks it. It's a 0.2% chance to break instantly like this but still possible
