Game crash entering overworld from the nether (not every time)

Doesn't happen every time but occasionally the game will crash when I go through the portal from the nether to the overworld. Crash occurs when trying to load the overworld. Not every time

Do you have any pets with you when entering the portal?

No I don’t have any pets when going through. A few loading and saving issues started with the 1.17.40 update and they happen with all my locally saved worlds (I Don’t play any online worlds). Entering a world works fine. If I’ve spent some time doing something in the over world and try to enter the nether or end it takes about 60 seconds to load the new dimension. Same kind of thing occurs when I quit my world after being in it for a while. The saving your world screen takes a long time to complete and get back to my world list. I’ve tried uninstalling my packs and even reinstalling the Minecraft on my PC. I’d import any one of my maps and I am getting the same problems on a fresh install of the latest version (1.17.41). I only seem to get the crash when entering the over world from the nether, I haven’t tested the end to over world much or tried to replicate the issue with a brand new world.

Resolving temporarily as Awaiting Response. Could you please attach the affected World to this ticket (if it exceeds the file size limit, you can upload it elsewhere and link it here)? This ticket will reopen automatically when you reply.

It's not just one world. Its all of them on this PC. I did some testing and installed MC on my 8y old PC and everything worked fine. Since my newer PC has lots of memory, an SSD, and decent graphics card I figured it's probably some kind of hardware/software issue on my PC. Eventually I just lowered my render distance which was set at 80 chunks down to 64 chunks and everything seems to be working better. Still not as fast as my 8y old PC!! Sorry, this probably isn't a game bug but more likely just some kind of compatibility or performance setting issue with my PC. Thanks for your time though, I appreciate it. 🙂

Resolving as "Cannot Reproduce."

You may want to check in Windows' graphics settings that Minecraft is set to "high performance," and that your video card drivers are up-to-date.
