Sure there are many reports about entities missing and they were all versions like 1.12.0 or 1.14.60 but this one is in 1.17.41 let me explain. I spawned in my minecraft world and found I was stuck on an island, so I decided to make a boat to explore and find more land. After exploring I only found another island which was smaller then I grabbed resources and went back to spawn to the main island I spawned on with the boat and as soon I got out of my boat on to the main island it just randomly disappeared and the same thing when I was riding a horse i got off it to get to base and get more food because I was hungry. And when I came back it just disappeared. Pls fix this mojang and I don’t have any video or photo of this happening because I didn’t record it. If anyone wants to they can add footage of this glitch. Thank you

I had a issue a few days ago with all of my npc's, tames and penned mobs disappearing. All of the boats I had docked are gone as well. I remembered after seeing your post, that a few days before I was traveling and had lost my boat somehow. I made a new one. When I got out of it, it was gone. This is a big bug. Apparently spans further than just boats. My villagers that are 1000 + blocks away were fine, just not any at my base. It's completely empty. That included horses that were penned and on lead, cats, wolves, penned mobs, villagers for trade.
