Bedrock Edition stores the version information of a block within its NBT data.
This should be the same as the version that wrote the block so that the game and external tools know which version the block came from and thus what data should be contained in the block.
This version number has not been updated since 1.16.210.3 despite many block additions and changes since then. This is stored as 17879555 in the data which when read as bytes gives 1, 16, 210, 3.
I assume whoever had the job of manually updating this field no longer works at there and the job was forgotten about.
It would be great if this value could be tied to the true game version if that does not cause other issues.
