I was playing in my world of survival and was doing black wool when I realized that squid were not born normally nowhere. So I tried to get slimeballs slimes, but they also were not born.

I have found squid in 0.15.0 build 1 on my Samsung Galaxy tab 4 android 5.0.2.
And I have seen slime spawning in my flat worlds.
This bug report works as intended Slimes don't just spawn anywhere they spawn in swamp biomes and squids spawn in oceans.
