Bone Mealing Crimson Nylium produces fewer Nether Plants

Bone mealing crimson nylium used to produce an average of ~15 crimson roots, warped and crimson fungus, per bone meal. This was sufficient to make a bone meal profit when recycled through a composter. As of 1.18.x the yield from bone mealing crimson nylium is reduced to around 7-8 nether plants and a bone meal profit is no longer possible.

This breaks nylium-based bone meal farms. No change to the crimson nylium has been included in any changelogs, so this may be a bug.

Hope this gets fixed soon, this is really killing all developpement of the wood production of my game

If moss gets a net gain of bonemeal, I have no idea why nylium can't. Nylium-based bonemeal farms are relog-proof (unlike the moss farms), satisfying to build and use, and were one of my favorite 1.16-1.17 features.

I've checked it with the farm and once with just the composters. It looks like a nerf (of composters? of bonemeal?).

I can confirm the issue. It is most annoying, especially if it is unintended. All the work that has gone into making a chunk aligned, never-breaking, never need to turn off, infinite bone meal farm and puf! Useless...
