[MCPE-149697] It doesn’t "snow" on old mountains anymore

I've been playing on this world for 2 years and after 1.18.0 it just stopped snowing on all the old mountains, all the snow on the ground melted and all I get is rain, sometimes I get both rain and snow but the snow flickers randomly and never sticks, if this wasn’t intentional could it be fixed?

Sadly the snow line has been liftet to y=130 for old terrain as well.

The issue is still prevalent in 1.19.22 I’ve included a Timelapse of it snowing on the same seed but still melting for some reason

It is possible that with updating the world to the newest versions, its biomes shifted due to new generation and the world seed updating. Do you notice any weird changes in other old biomes, i.e. grass color changing compared to how it used to be before 1.18?
It would be helpful if you could provide the world affected and upload it here, or elsewhere and link here.

This is a bit of a late response but no the only biome change I've seen is the old mountains of my world still have snow but it never sticks also water doesn't freeze which ruined my ice farm.

Even in 1.19.73, the issue is still at large but at this point I'm sure it'll never get fixed

I think it can be connected to how weather changes with height in mountains, that your ground height is not enough to reach where snow would sit when it snowed. But depending on what biome are you exactly in right now (there are multiple mountain biomes currently) it is a bug. Again it would be the most helpful if you exported and uploaded the affected world here.

I have 2 different versions of the world the first one is really old and is only 30 MB while the second one is the latest copy and is 860 MB the smaller one is mainly there incase no one wants to download a 800+ world but the issue is the same on both
