no matter what in my survival world the game will delay and will just place the blocks i mined back

I have the same issue on my X-Box One. It takes a dozen or more clicks to pick up a dropped item. When mining, blocks disappears without a sound and do not drop for 3-10 seconds, and once they frop, they can't pick it up for another 3-10 seconds. Worse, if I continue to mine without waiting for the blocks to drop, they reappear in un-mined form right where I mined them.
The game is unplayable with these problems. Oddly, Minecraft worked great at first after the new update. This morning (about seven hours ago) I played with no problems at all.
