Over the past few weeks, whenever I play on my friend’s realm I get disconnected after a minute or so, making it unplayable. I was hoping the issue would stop with the release of the new update but it still happens. Me and my friend weren’t able to figure out what causes the issue, even after removing and re-adding me, and it seems to only be happening to me. I’ve tried logging on/off of Microsoft, refreshing my internet connection, and restarting my device but nothing works. This is only an issue with the realm; playing on personal worlds I don’t experience the issue.

Similar issue. From my tests it only affects the iOS platform. It also happens when joining hosted LAN worlds. The only temporary solution I can find is to restart Minecraft after you have been disconnected. It also affects the current 1.18.2 version.
