Hello!
For a while I always had performance issues on the Switch when playing both on servers and on a single player world. In my single player world I would get frame dips at times in random areas, especially when I turn around. However I noticed that logging out of my Microsoft/Nintendo Account actually made my singleplayer performance much better, so it may have something to do with the account.
Playing on servers has had a lot of performance problems for a while, the frames would feel low and choppy at times. Especially when playing things like death run on the hive.
Please fix this soon!
How to reproduce:
Just log into your Microsoft/Nintendo Account and play in your world.
Try Signing out, enter your world, and you'll most likely see an improvement in performance

This is absolutely still a problem. I tried reducing my render distance to 8 and playing at 480p and there were noticeable frame dips. Since there isn't an FPS counter on the switch, I could not tell you how far the framerates were dropping, but it was noticeable. I should note that this is the case in the latest version as of this post (1.18.32)
Thank you for your report!
