Hostile Mobs not Spawning

All hostile mob spawning has halted as though the realm is set to Peaceful, but I've confirmed that it is still set to Easy.

What I expected to happen was...:
Mobs would spawn in very low light conditions

What actually happened was...:
No mobs spawn anywhere, even in total darkness

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to anywhere sufficiently dark for hostile mobs to span in 1.18
2. Wait for something top spawn
3. Nothing does

Happens to me too, not sure what it could be. I Afk-ed at my mob farm (which works about half the time) and for 8 hours there were 0 spawns. The light level is 0 and it's 250 blocks up in the air. I Afk-ed this afternoon and perfect rates. It's on a realm and I have no idea what is causing it.

Most likely this is due to the global cap of 200 loaded spawnable mobs being exceeded on the world. One player with hundreds of farm animals at their base will stop environmental spawns everywhere in the world whenever that area is loaded. (The cap does not include villagers or inanimate entities.) This is not a bug. You can give feedback on feedback.minecraft.net.

Resolving as Cannot Reproduce based on the steps given in the description.
