Cows escape when many are crammed into 1x1 hole.

When I feed the cow and there are a lot of them inside the crusher farm some of them end up escaping the farm even though it's covered from everywhere.

Ideally after a number of cows are inside that one size block they should suffocate and die.

Some of them get launched so far away when I'm standing in front of the farm sometimes.

It’s called entity cramming. It’s supposed to shoot them off because it reaches the limit of entities in that chunk and tries to reduce lag that way, and it does it with any mob.

In the wiki it says that once the number reaches 24 the cows get suffocation damaged and die and drop leather and beef.

Entity cramming is a Java Edition feature that does not exist in Bedrock Edition.

Contrary to your description, your screenshots do not show the cows "covered from everywhere." The is a lot of open space around the fence post. More importantly, adult cows are greater than 1 block tall, so they are already inside the fence post and can move out through it if pushed. They might be pushed up if you hit one, or if you breed them and a baby is born and XP drops inside the space. The large number of entities colliding increases the pushing force enough that they are thrown many blocks away.

Will entity cramming be added in future to Bedrock?
