So, I wanted to spawn in a Mushroom Biome using the seed picker when creating a new world on Minecraft version before the Caves and Cliffs Update. It worked.. But when I tried to spawn in a Mushroom Biome using the seed picker in Minecraft version 1.18+, it doesn't spawn me there anymore. It just spawns me in a random Jungle Forest.
How to reproduce this (In old Minecraft Bedrock versions):
1. Open up Minecraft (Whether it be Beta or full release)
2. Press "Create new world"
3. Scroll down to find "Seed Picker"
4. Find "Mushroom Biome" and set that as the new world's seed
5. Wait for the world to load
How to reproduce this (In the new Minecraft Bedrock version 1.18+):
Same thing applied here from the top reproduction steps.
What's supposed to happen:
A: You'd spawn in a Mushroom Biome as shown in the preview image of the Seed Picker.
What happened instead:
A: It just spawns you in a random Jungle Forest in the middle of nowhere instead.

The mushroom biomes are at -42 ~ -54
and 118 ~ 234
. In 1.18, it is no longer possible for the player to spawn in a mushroom biome when creating a new world, which is working as intended per MC-241029. The inaccurate thumbnail is being tracked at MCPE-104128.
I have to address that other world spawn seeds in the seed picker does in fact spawn you in the expected place, for example, the Winding River world spawn seed in the seed picker will spawn you in the Winding River. The Spooky Mansion world spawn seed will spawn you near an expected Woodland Mansion, etc.. The Mushroom Biome world spawn seed however, nope.
