A lot of mobs I've interacted with have been despawning including villagers that I've traded with up to master trader, and they can't die from mobs because they're stowed away underground in a place unaccessible to other entities beside myself. And my saddled pig despawned even though he was named and nothing killed him. I walked away to go grab flowers for my bees, and when I turned around, my pig disappeared permanently.
