Some leaves on mangroves are completely separate from other leaves

Summary:
Some leaves on mangrove trees are generated completely separate from other leaves (some only touch corners). I've looked at the Mangrove Swamp Biome in java and it looks like all the leaves are touching each other's sides.

Seed: 7159122465189192029
Coords: 4424 85 164
Coords: 4239 95 29
Coords: 4463 78 485

Steps to reproduce 1:

  1. Create a world with the specified seed.

  2. Visit the specified coordinates.

Steps to reproduce 2:

  1. Create a flat world.

  2. Write the command /fill ~1 ~ ~60 ~1 ~ ~ mangrove_propagule

  3. Set the randomtickspeed game rule to a high value.

  4. Look at the tops of the trees for flying leaves.

  5. If no problem is found, repeat step 2.

Observed results:
Some leaves are generated completely separate from other leaves.

Expected results:
All leaves will be in contact with other leaves sides.

Hi @unknown!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce this issue. Can You confirm that all coords are in positive values? If that is not the issue. attaching a World file would be very helpfull.

Hi @unknown!
I just checked the seed and coordinates again and everything is in order. The desired world was created, and there are still flying leaves on the indicated coordinates. Attached new screenshots with included coordinates and the seed indicated at the top of the screenshot.
Version 1.19.0.21 Preview, "Wild Update" and "Vanilla Experiments" features included.
Try to create a new world by copying the seed from the description of the report and teleport to the specified coordinates, if unsuccessful - I will attach the world.

Hello @unknown!

Unfortunately, the problem is still not reproducible from my side. I used the seed and visited listed coordinates, but still can't find the issue. Just a thought, from what I know Mangrove Swamp trees have leafs that deteriorate by their own after some time- was this issue observed after spending some time in the world, or straight away after creating it?
Either way, I'll appreciate World file to further investigate this issue.

Hello @unknown)

In general, this bug can be found in almost every Mangrove Swamp Biome. I found another seed with Mangrove Swamp Biome and almost immediately found this problem.

Seed: 1022
Coords: 2431 79 -2479

It is not a problem of disappearing leaves. In bedrock, unlike the java version, there is no (I checked earlier) MC-218623. In addition, these leaves are generated in the same way every time the world is created.

You can find the Mangrove Swamp Biome yourself and try to find such leaves.
I also attach a world with an already generated biome (leaf coordinates as in the report).

It seems to me that this may be a problem of replacing leaves with vines during generation. This problem has already been seen on some other trees before MCPE-147142.

Hope you can reproduce this problem.

Edit: I was able to reproduce the issue by growing mangrove propagule. I also added new steps to reproduce.

Still can not reproduce this, no floating leafs anywhere. Can You create a new world on the latest beta with random ticks set to 0 and find them there and attach it?

Leaves block at 4424 85 164 is a perfect example of a Leaves block completely unattached to the tree. Version 1.19.0.31, natural generation.

This issue doesn't occur in newly generated worlds in 1.19.22. Closing as Cannot Reproduce.
