New update has caused lag, lock-ups, and inability to use marketplace.

The update for Nintendo switch, 4/19/2022, has caused major lag issues which also present as lock-ups. The only way around it that I have found is to go to the switch Home Screen, wait 30 seconds and go back in game. It appears to happen around automatic save but laggy at other times also. At Minecraft Home Screen, I am unable to go to marketplace. It does nothing when selected. In-game, in settings, when trying to go to marketplace, it says “invalid session, try restarting your game”. It has become virtually unplayable due to the lock-ups. If doing anything other than mundane tasks, you risk losing your game progress. We have 5 switches, it happens on all of them.
