My Minecraft installation was running perfectly - with RTX enabled - on my ASUS F15 laptop with an Nvidia RTX3060.
I CAN CONFIRM that the Minecraft 1.18.30 update is the culprit. After a system restore which got me back to Minecraft 1.18.12 everything was working perfectly normal again.
As soon as I updated Minecraft to 1.18.30 the program mostly crashes to desktop when attempting to load a RTX world.
However, sometimes the world will load and function. Upon saving it I may then get a CTD, but if not, and I then re-load the world I will get a black screen, with only toolbar and particle effects visible.

Same issue here with RTX 3090. Windows 10 21H2, Intel 10700, Nvidia RTX 3090.
1.18.12 was all good.

UPDATE
To rule out any possibility of a faulty Windows 10 installation I have just installed Minecraft 1.18.30 on a fresh Windows 10 installation, latest Nvidia driver, no other programs running or installed.
The issue persists.
