If playing on any of the new iPads with rounded corners (iPad Pro 12.9” 3-5, iPad Pro 11” 1-3, iPad Air 4/5, iPad Mini 6), the screen safe will be slightly off.
Expected Result:
The screen safe area would be overlapping the rounded corners on the screen.
Result:
The corners are about 3/4" above where they should be.
Please note: I have seen this happen with my iPad Pro 5th generation, and on the iPad Air 4. I have also seen screenshots around the website of the iPad Mini 6 being affected by this issue, too.
This may be because Minecraft can’t correctly place the screen safe corners on the newer Apple devices, as there are no corners, but I hope this helps, Mojang!
