The iPad 8th Generation has been out for almost 2 years, and yet there are still major lag spikes and frame drops present. I have tried many workarounds to get rid of the issue, but it is still very prevalent.
Especially when playing on servers with many entities (Like the Hive,) the render distance is delayed, and causes lag spikes in certain regions of the map. When it finishes rendering however, it returns to normal and smooth frames, however every time new chunks load, the same issue repeats itself.
It appears to be an issue with Minecraft: Bedrock itself, as it runs completely fine in any other game, even under high stress
My friends with iPads released the same year (iPad Air 4) did not have any issues with playing, even with shaders
Even on my older device (iPhone 7) runs better than my iPad which has a better chipset and better performance
Update: With the new renderdragon engine, my fps drops have stayed the same. Still have rendering issues, and now I have to deal with more bugs that came with the update.
