[MCPE-156280] fog when entering the water

when entering the water there is a very dark fog and it takes time to disappear.

It seems to me that this is working as intended.
When you go higher in the water, does the fog get brighter, and when you go down, does it get darker?
What is the expected behavior for you here?

This fog is very bad, especially in cell phones with LCD IPS technology.

Another question...

This fog effect shouldn't exist if I use the night vision potion.
Or am I wrong?

The fog clearing over a few seconds as shown in the video is intended. It is the fix to MCPE-124282.
From the 1.19.0 changelog:

Added adjustable fog effect that can expand or shrink over time. Users will get the sense of eyes adjusting when going into water

Night vision would be a separate issue.
