New touch controls literally do not exist

Having this issue too. iPadOS

Yeah. There's a problem with the new mobile controls for me too. So I updated Minecraft, and then when it got done, it said I could update Minecraft again, but when I clicked on Minecraft, it let me press Play, so I was confused on what to do. I feel like it maybe has something to do with being a beta tester, because when I chose Update instead, it brought me to a newer version and also a beta version and then it did have the controls but it's a beta so it's not letting me play on servers or play on worlds without the risk of it being deleted.

I have this issue too. I belive it’s iOS only for some reason.

@GonzoStudios I'm on android 12 the newest version  and controls aren't here on minecraft 1.19.0 

You'd still have to edit options.txt in my situation

However, this issue has been closed as Working as Intended.

Unfortunately, the updated touch controls were not included in the 1.19.0 full release, and are still only available to Minecraft Beta / Preview players. (The changelog has since been updated to reflect this.)
