I trimmed the chunks of my world with Amulet in preparation for 1.19. I made a couple of backups of the trimmed world and opened one of them in 1.19. The trimmed chunks regenerated fine as expected, however, when I logged out of the world and back in again, some chunks had very clearly broke. I loaded another backup in 1.19 to get screenshots and see if it would happen again and it did. Screen shots are attatched. Terrain of regenerated chunks on first 1.19 load, and then the same terrain after doing nothing but relogging. the broken chunks in the screen shot are also not the exact same chunks that broke in the first backup, and some chunks had corrupted in multiple nearby regenerated areas of the world, not just the ones seen in the screenshot.
Edit: I trimmed another 1.18.31 backup of the world for further testing (Link for the trimmed 1.18.31 world here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkzFNKJHAfe9gYdQqdX0bH_tmj-5AA?e=bUuMtT ) and opened it in 1.19. This time once the surrounding area of my snow mountain base had regenerated normally, I teleported far away to my original spawn base and then back to the snow mountains, and some mountain chunks had broke. So it seems that when those chunks are reloaded either through relogging or teleporting away and back, they break. I've noticed it only happens in the mountains seen in the screenshots.
Steps to reproduce:
Download the world linked above and open it in 1.19
Go just north of the little snow base to the coords in the screenshots - the mountains surrounding that base will regenerate normally in 1.19
Relog or teleport away and back to reload the chunks - a bunch of chunks in the mountains will have changed.
