I play on an iPad Pro.
Since Minecraft update 1.18.30 when render dragon was rolled out to all devices ( I think that the correct version) there was a significant decrease in FPS. Flying with elytra was a nightmare if it was not around loaded chunks, anything further means your flying into a blue sky and hope.
Now on 1.19 it’s even worse, I can walk up to a chunk and wait for a minute for it to load. The lag in unbelievable, it’s even hard to take off with elytra and rocket as it’s so bad. I’m having to climb up high, jump off, activate elytra and then use rocket which doesn’t always work. I’ve tested this on a new world aswell as existing.

I just started having this problem on my iPad Pro as well after I updated to 1.19 this morning. I have the most trouble when traveling by water.

I’m getting just a few frames per second on my new iPad Pro after updating to 1.19. I have to wait for chunks to load when traveling by foot even with min settings at sim distance 4. Loading times for worlds and using portals is at least 4x as long as before the update. I unloaded all resource packs and behavior packs with no difference.

died on a realm and lost everything whilst moving shulkerboxes for my late game mega base. this needs to be fixed ASAP as it is unplayable. please for the love of god. this bug effects the WHOLE game.
