Chunks of world suddenly deleted

A huge chunk of the world has had all my buildings removed, all the animals and entities in the area were killed and dropped their loot other than 2 Allay which were unharmed for some reason, and the area now has dripstone features and snow layers despite being inside of a Badlands biome.

Additionally, the terrain has sharp seams or borders in places were there weren't before.

It's probably worth noting that other things that we have built are completely fine with no changes to them whatsoever, as shown in the screenshot below.

What caused this?

The only thing that I think could have caused this is that my friend (who's game the world is on) was in the Nether when all the area was safe, then when she came back to the Overworld, everything in the area by the portal (which is the same area as seen in the pictures) was gone. She also seemed to spawn a few blocks lower, as she was in the ground, but it could be that the terrain instead moved up.

My best guess is that 1.19 terrain generation is attempting to overwrite the 1.18 generation, and in attempts to put the terrain back to how it was, the game cleared all the buildings around.

I have also provided an old photo below of the building that used to be there so you can see the damage caused.

Is your friend running out of hard drive space maybe? Chunks can be overwritten if this is an issue.

She has over 340 GB free on her hard drive so I doubt that that's the cause of the issue.

Is it possible to upload the world affected here? If it's too big you can upload it elsewhere and link it here.

The co-ordinates for the temple that got deleted are X=503, Y=121, Z=-1816.

I hope this works, let me know if it doesn't.

I am requesting ownership of this report because it has not received an update by the reporter for over 1 year. Therefore, I can update the report if the request is granted

I mean there isn't anything to report. We gave up with the world when that happened for fear it would happen again. This issue has never happened again after this one time.
Although, my friend's hard drive ended up breaking and needing to be replaced about a month after this occurred and I suspect that that was related to this issue rather than it being a bug within Minecraft itself.

@unknown The problem is still present. And I have the ability to provide steps to reproduce. Would you mind granting me ownership then?

@unknown Snow issue tracked in MCPE-142225 - Dripstone Caves biome temperature is too cold

This is being resolved as Cannot Reproduce since the original report did not have enough specific details / steps.
If this occurs again, please create a new report (after searching for duplicates) with a list of steps to reproduce the issue.
