I decided to make a new survival world after not playing Minecraft on my iPad for a long time, and after waiting a long time for my world to load (about 5 minutes because of my really old iPad) I spawned in and went to go break a tree.
I tried moving right when I was in the middle of mining of the but it started to mine the block where the right button was.
After doing a little bit more experimenting with it, I realized that I was only able to move to the right if I was breaking something and pressing the right button simultaneously. To describe it easier, I have my right thumb pressing something on the right side of the screen with my left thumb on the right button.
Also, the only way to move to the right without touching/mining anything else on the right side or the screen is by spamming the right button. If I hold down on it, the block would start to break.Β
Now, I'm not sure what else there is to say about this issue that I experienced when playing, but I know that this does make the game a lot more difficult only being able to go forward, left, and backwards.
