I was doing a raid and I ran out of time, but I'm still hearing raiders around as if they did not give up and leave. This is definitely not just a patrol. I started the raid like normal by getting the bad omen effect then going to a village. I completed wave one easily but then on wave two I could not find them. I went into a small cave/ditch area and started hearing them, so I thought they would be there. I looked for what would seem like 5-10 minutes, but still only heard them and never found them. A minute or so later, a message appears on the corner of my screen that says βA raid has expiredβ meaning I was unable to beat the raid within the allowed time. I stayed in the cave for a while but even though the raid was no longer on, I still heard raiders nearby. This happened after the battle horn sounded for the last time. If you need the specific raiding mobs I was still hearing, it sounded like a pillager and a vindicator.

If you move far enough away from where the mobs might be (at least 44 block on Simulation 4), do they despawn? Otherwise, there should be no reason to expect that the last mobs from an expired raid would just immediately despawn.
