You litterally can't see anything with the darkness effect when an area is already dark, I tested this at night on the surface but the result is litterally worse in a ancient city or a deep dark biome since there is normally always light lvl 0. Unless you place some torches in a cave but these hardly change anything. The colors get even weirder if you have night vision. Then the beating of the darkness Effect gets a blue color if combined with night vision as seen in the night vision Video. At the current point You are forced to use the night vision potion because if you are not using it, you can't see anything. I even checked the visual settings but unlike Java there is no option to config the strenght or intensity of the darkness effect. I might have missed a setting, but I am littrally Blind when I have this new effect.

Bruh I said in the report that I can't find a setting for the darkness effect. Why are you now asking me about this setting that I don't even know about. Anyway where can I find this setting?
Ok I fixed it. It was at 100% and is now at 50%. But, can you just tell me why the slider for the darkness effect is in accessibility section and not in visual? I didn't even look under accessibilities because I didn't think the slider would be there. Also why is the default setting for the Darkness effect set to 100%. Thats way to high.
If you would like to suggest changes to the default setting or location of the controls you can do that at Feedback and Suggestions.
Have you tried adjusting the Slider for Darkness Effect Strength?
What do you have this set to and does it work better for you if you set it to a lower value?
