Sorry for the late reply. It was an issue with my hardware. I got a 2023 gaming laptop a few moths ago and the issue is no longer present. There is a huge difference between a 2014 Laptop designed for documents compared to a gaming laptop from 2023. Thank you for asking though.

The chunk hole is still present since I saved my world. As far as I know I haven't had any chunk errors or generation bugs with them since the lastest version of Minecraft 1.20. Not sure how it is with 1.21.0 and up but I haven't encountered anything yet and I hope I will not!

I can't really test it anymore, since I upgraded my laptop from a 2014 one to a gaming one from 2023, My loading time on a nether portal is significally lower. It loads very fast. This issue occured for me when the game lagged while in the nether portal loading screen when traversing to the nether or back. I am not really sure though. I have hear from people that had this happend to them. Therefore I am extremly unsure if this is still a issue or not. 🤷‍♂️

Kinda late to this, but anyway here is my response. Like checkmate and KR_ said this was an issue with my hardware. At the time of reporting that issue I was playing on a low end laptop. I had that laptop for at least 8 year when I got it and started playing MC Bedrock on it in Version 1.13.0. I got a new laptop a few months ago, It is a gaming one. And yeah... My hardware was way to outdated. It runs much better with a nivida graphics card from 2023 than an Intel 670 graphics card form 2014 or so I think. Issue is fixed, thank you though for asking.

One thing I didn't mention is that I had all achievements done. I had claimed every item. But after the update some were just removed from my character and I can't claim or equip them anymore, despite owning them before.

I also got this issue thanks to the update. Also some other non achievement cosmetics that I owned before had to be redownloaded.

I have more pictures to add. And I might have found what is causing the issue.

One thing I didn't mention. These bugged generation chunks keep going. Unless stopped by already loaded chunks. If the chunks are to the north east for example. They will forever go into that direction.

Issue also appears out of nowhere. Last time this happened, I shut down my PC and forgot to turn of minecraft. Then on the next day. My world was gone. Thank god I always have a copy.

I updated my game. The chunk hole is still present but it didn't affect any build exept a small railwaysection in the air. And the railwaysection is easiely replaceble, since it is only a few blocks and rails. IF you ask me about new chunk holes I can only say: Please view my newest issue MCPE-172549.

Sadly the issue is still present in 1.20.1. Sometimes it works normal and I can access X-box social withot a problem. But most of the time I am using Xbox social this issue with the lag shows up.

Happened to me twice now. I was doing normal stuff in the nether, I click the save and quit button when I am done. And then I quit Minecraft after the saving is done. When I joined the next day. I find myself in the overworld. At world spawn, with nothing but my starting map. I don't know how this occured, but I think it is a issue with saving. Because all My build were the same. Nothing broken or reset. My Inventory and Enderchest got wiped for no known reason though. Thank God I always make world copys. I would have lost all my stuff if I didn't.

REMEMBER ALWAYS MAKE WORLD COPIES, WHILE PLAYING BEDROCK EDTION. IT CAN SAVE EVERYTHING.

I have a similar bug. It happened to me 2 times now.
Basically, I am In the nether, doing stuff there. Then when I am done, I save and quit in the nether. I didn't play for a day after I saved. Then i join back on the next day. Only to find myself in the overworld at world spawn near my base, with nothing exept the started map in my hand. The world is singleplayer and open to friends only. I was not playing on a realm. It was a basic world. I am glad that I made a world copy. Because in that world copy, everything was normal. I spawned in the nether where I quit and had all my stuff, the exact same way I quit.

I think this is because the protection enchantment now reduces damage from Magic as well. Does the Poison effect reduce armor durability too?

I tried getting this achievement, since the version 1.16 when I created my world that I still have in my World select screen. I have watched multible tutorial videos that describe how to get it. I haven't been able to get it up until this day. I tried the weirdest thing. From lurring a zombie into a village, triggering a raid with bad Omen or punching a Irongolem and then rightclicking the a bell at the same time the Irongolem was hitting me. Nothing worked for me so far. This achievement is one of the last 4 I am missing, despite it seming so easy, because of this bug it is one of the hardest ones to get.

Happens to me most of the time when I Join an already existing world. Some chunks are more often affected than others.

Edit: Or when I load multible chunks that never generated before very fast, when flying with Elytra and fireworks for example.
