Hi, can confirm that major block lag happening on my lan connection via android to an xbox world. Especially grass and dirt. Stone and the like. Even lag picking up dropped items. I can't see any improvement really, which is weird cos Silent said it was fixed.

I can confirm this. It's kinda been fixed but it's still not as smooth as 1.16.40. Mojang please fix this the switch can't even handle the game.

The game is unplayable but the thing is the trial version of minecraft running perfectly like minecraft 1.16.40 did. Please fix this issue I can't even play on my world because of this frame drop issue. I hope it's gonna fix. Thank You.

Could you please mention the specific devices where this issue is occurring?

In My Case Iam Using Samsung Galaxy M40 6GB Ram Snapdragon 675Processor Adreno 612gpu. Also I Just Found Realms Running Perfectly Like 1.16.40 For Me. The Frame Drop Issue Happening On Single
Player,Multiplayer and Servers Such As Hive,Cubecraft

Edit: Also Chunk Loading is Slow If You Are On Creative And Flying The Game Is Unplayable 7 to 8 fps

Chunk loading is an issue on both Nintendo switch and Xbox series X, without mods or texture packs. When in a boat, Chunks will not load until the player is in the chunk, then a popup appears to say the chunk is still loading.

I’ve found a reliable way to reproduce severe chunk freezing in Bedrock (with RenderDragon). Here’s a simple test...

“All the stuttering and freezing during chunk generation are caused by RenderDragon. For example, when you set the render distance to 2 chunks and let the world generate for a while, the game starts to struggle noticeably. While it's struggling and chunks are still failing to load, try this: immediately open the settings and crank the render distance up to a high value. You’ll then witness what real chunk freezing looks like – the world will completely lock up, chunks stop rendering entirely, and block interactions become delayed or unresponsive.”

All versions that include the Render Dragon engine are affected. This includes the previous deferred rendering system, which already had these issues hidden at specific coordinates. Players experience latency spikes when generating chunks, as well as during turning and movement.

When you reload and go near those buggy fixed coordinates, the chunks there will lag again as well.

Sure, these problems only really affect mobile devices. You'd never feel them on a PC with an Nvidia GPU.

Bedrock Edition 26.44

Based on test recording results, it was found that only chunks with Vibrant Visuals enabled freeze.
There is a workaround without reloading the map:

  1. Turn off Vibrant Visuals.

  2. Move far away from the problematic chunk area.

  3. Return along the original path to reload the chunks – the frozen chunks will not reappear.
To reproduce the freeze, it is also simple: just re-enter the world and set up the chunks with Vibrant Visuals as before.
