Don’t have the preview, will see if it’s fixed in the next update.

Sure, here’s the pack.

I’ve found out which pack it was! Only happens when I have a pack enabled that removes the black visual thingy when wearing a pumpkin head.

Disabling all packs seems to have fixed it? But I only have basic texture packs on that have worked for years and after the 1.21.90 update something broke it.

I’ve already reported a similar bug. Breaking a mob head or even standing on top of one instantly crashes my game.

Update: simply walking/standing on top of a mob head instantly crashes the game too.

The bookshelves and bedrock work for me too, the thing is that ALL textures show properly for the world host, but for the visitor many are missing (like the stones). It only fully works in singleplayer for me if i turn off that "disable global resources" option in the world texture pack settings, which normally force disables all global resources from both visitor and the host. Maybe check with that option on/off again since that makes a difference for me. I really don't understand why it's broken for me.

Added a pack to test it. I have other packs with variated textures and they all don't work for visitors either. I added two images showing examples, one of the host world and one of a visitor (the pack has been downloaded properly ofc). Host can see the stone textures, visitor can't even though the texture pack is applied. World is hosted on win10 and i joined the world on mobile to show the difference. Both devices don't have conflicting packs or any global packs. It's just the world packs.

Still happens in 1.21.50. Random end regeneration seems to be patched but the small islands still appear.

Same thing happening to me. Skins don't load or get replaced by default ones.

Been having this issue too. It started with only loading my username sometimes and waiting in the menu long enough would do the trick eventually. But now it seems permanently stuck at the skin name. Have not found a workaround that fixes it yet. Account settings, waiting in the main menu, nothing helped.

Just gonna drop a note that this still happens in current versions. I mainly notice this on my own world, not on servers. The world is about 870 mb. When I load the same world on Java edition (converted) this issues doesn't exist and all chunks load fast.

  • often it's the same chunks at my base that take particularly long to load, the chunks contain a lot of storage blocks and entities (a reasonable amount, nothing extreme). It can take up to 10 seconds for those chunks to load sometimes. The game has no problems loading chunks far in the distance first, all while the chunk right in front of me is literally void.

  • sometimes random chunks also take long to load but that has gotten less common

Can confirm, this happened multiple times when going in and out of the nether in my base.

  • all nearby armor stands fell down by one block even through ceilings

  • all nearby parrots (they were sitting!) teleported to me

  • even fish that were fully enclosed in tanks somehow teleported out of their tank all the way into the nether portal and they all died there

This bug has been happening since 1.21.30

After some more testing this is likely related to MCPE-175072
happens after that sign bug activated

Changing the code in my packs worked, thanks for comment Ocelot!

Having this issue too on 1.20.0 on my world with texture packs applied. Removing all texture packs made them visible again, but it's still annoying since I can't play with my texture packs now.

Yes it does still happen. Especially when loading times between dimensions are a bit longer.

I've recently experienced this bug too. 4 tridents all at once went missing from my gold farm (2 killers with 2 tridents each). After some searching I found out they fell through the floor through multiple layers of solid blocks. I was flying in and out of the area a lot before that but I wasn't using any nether portals nearby. So I assume loading and unloading the chunks causes this. Single player world with simple 4 piston trident killers.

Hasn't happened anymore for a couple months now so the issue is likely gone.

I get this bug too on my pc with decent specs. Something like that does not happen when I play on Java edtion. I notice it are often the SAME chunks in my world that take longer to load than the rest, notably chunks in my storage room that contain lots of entities/barrels items. Said chunks can take 10 seconds or more to render while I'm standing right in front of them and the game keeps loading chunks very far away in the distance instead of the one next to me. It is a locally saved world on my pc. Does the game have no priority to load chunks close to the player first instead of the ones super far away? What could be the reason for specific chunks to take so long to render?
