Confirmed. You can only stack coral on top of another block. Now I have coral henge.
I can see you've linked this issue to a really old report, but this is actually a new bug since 1.20. I could bonemeal blocks underwater just fine, in 1.19. It would give seagrass and coral fans. It's only since 1.20 that the feature has been lost.
I didn't think my issue was related to this but I've been advised it is a duplicate. We also had a disappearing bot that had a sheep in in. The boat vanished and the sheep started glitching about the place like it was constantly teleporting. Also other boats that are left in the water vanish, so we have to remember to pick them up. This is 1.17.4 with Caves and cliffs turned on. I have a video of the glitching sheep but I'm not sure how to add it to this comment.
The new flowering azalea leaves solve this problem as they're a flat block, and you can place them right next to the hive.
Update... Since he came to my area the cauldrons have started filling up again, so it looks like this was some weird glitch. Feel free to close it as I can't delete it. Thank you 🙂
All my villagers, and my husbands, are Bred villagers. Well, apart from the 2 original ones. I've never zombified a villager before locking it into its trade - so all my villagers give the correct discounts. Maybe they have to have a fixed trade/price before they can offer a discount now.
This is strange. I haven't experienced this at all, but I lock in their trade - by trading once - before zombifying and curing them. Their discounts work just fine. I'm on android and my husband is on xbox and we are both getting the usual discounts. However, a Nitwit was killed by a Zombie recently and of course he's never had a job - so maybe this fault only affects non job linked villagers. Can confirm we are on Hard Mode so all villagers should convert and not die.
When it is fixed, in 1.17.1 will we have to go out to areas already not explored/visited - or will they be able to do a mini reset of chunks not actually interacted with?
Oops sorry, I searched for snow and got nothing.
Hi, I've been getting major block lag again. Also mobs seeming to freeze and then zoom to their actual location. This makes combat a bit difficult. Blocks reappear after mining, can't pick up dropped items, can't open chests. This is on a Lan server wold hosted by xbox one player and I'm on android. I tried in a solo world too and got the missing chunks and xray vision happening when I moved around it.
Oh wow, I did wonder if the cat got woke up by the sound of thunder. I guess it was a lightning strike through the ceiling. Sadly it appeared just as I triggered a charged creeper, so now I have string lol
Hi, the shields are weird, as my husband on xbox one has the shield going right through his head and body
[media]. When I use the same shield, on android it looks fine, I give it back to him and it goes back to cutting him in half.
If anyone has a more fancy wither skeleton farm, could they try and see if they are still getting wither skeletons spawning in there, on their wither roses?
Hi. We also just tried this, after a horrible battle with the wither. We went to our wither skeleton corridor, where we are 1 block lower than then and use slabs to block other mobs from seeing us - and placed down wither roses all over. The corridor had previously allowed all mobs to spawn. Especially the really annoying magma cubes and Blazes. Once the roses were down, nothing spawned in there.
I removed the roses and all mobs spawned again.
Another weirdness was that wither skeletons would Not walk over wither roses. There were 3 roses, on the edge of the killing platform, with a piglin on the other side of the platform to encourage the wither skeletons to walk into range of our swords. They just stopped and would not walk over the roses, even when we raised the ceiling by one block. When the wither roses were removed, the wither skeletons went straight across the platform to try and get the piglin.
Tbh, the whole thing worked better without the roses, and that's not how it should be
Hi thanks for testing this. I'm on Android so asked my husband to test on xbox. We found the zombie was hitting through the diagonal as it passed by on the Minecart, on the way to its intended victim. A stationary zombie in a Minecart can not hit through the glass but a travelling zombie can hit through the edge of the block. We're now going to try a whole row of glass blocks, to see if it's just on the side edges. This might be a game mechanic, but before the change to melee distance attacks from zombies, they couldn't hit through the diagonal whilst travelling in a Minecart.
My village is in a square, around a golem killing field/farm. The zombie travels around the back of the villagers cubby holes, one block lower than their beds. Originally I would remove the glass block from behind the bed of the chosen villager, flip the zombie powered line and he'd go around and around until that chosen villager got infected. I'd then depower his line until the cure was complete and pop the villagers blocking glass behind his bed.
My apologies for the delay. This issue started when bedrock was updated to 1.16.210.Mobs
All mobs that use a melee attack have had their ability to hit targets above and below them restored
The target still must be within melee attack distance to be hit
This only affects world versions greater than or equal to 1.16.210
teps to Reproduce:
1. Have a Minecart with a zombie in it, one block down and one block back from villagers. Place a leaf block or glass block to block off access to villager bed when villager sleeps. Remove the glass block or leaf block of the villager you want to convert and activate powered rail to set zombie on its journey around the village
2.the zombie can also hit through closed trapdoors and even solid block - as I tried this to, just to see what would happen.
3.
Observed Results:
The zombie is able to hit any of the villagers, even if there's a leaf block or glass block blocking the zombie off, as the zombie is now hitting up through the floor? Zombie does not hit player when I stand in same place as villager
Expected Results:
Only the villager with its leaf/glass block should be hit by the Minecart zombie. This is what happened before the recent update that allowed zombies to hit upwards. Affects latest version but I'm not sure of the number cos it changed yesterday.
Hi, can confirm that major block lag happening on my lan connection via android to an xbox world. Especially grass and dirt. Stone and the like. Even lag picking up dropped items. I can't see any improvement really, which is weird cos Silent said it was fixed.
My trader inksacs still can't be used either.
Is this a natural village? For golems to respawn in a village there must be at least 10 villagers and 20 beds. There's also a requirement for a certain percentage of villagers to have worked, in that day. Most naturally found villages I've found dont meet these requirements.
