This has happened to me multiple times now over the past few weeks.
When flying with the elytra on a local world (normal survival) the game often randomly freezes for a couple seconds. Sometimes it resumes after the freeze is over but there is a chance the game stays frozen and crashes. It has also managed to make the entire phone crash multiple times resulting in a forced restart of Android.
My phone used to run the game with stable fps and no crashes. Also this issue only seems to happen on local worlds, not on servers or worlds hosted by friends. Overall the performance is much worse on local worlds for some reason. I already have all possible settings on lowest.

5 chunks and it still freezes all the time when moving. The freezes happen at any render distance for me and just as frequent when i set it to 10 chunks or more. Again, only on local worlds tho. On servers I can fly around without any issues at all.
Is this happening only when flying fast with elytra on, or does it also reproduce when you fly fast on creative mode?
I have not had it happen on creative mode yet since I don't play it much. However on survival gliding slow was enough to freeze the game and entire phone. It happens randomly, sometimes I can fly with riptide through the rain and it won't crash and other times I just slowly glide around, the game out of nowhere stutters while loading chunks and completely freezes. Does not happen in specific chunks. The phone always has to force restart as it won't even let me close the app.
I'm noticing this crash too but on PC.
Seems to happen if I try to fly (fast or slow) after coming out of a nether portal... I wonder if it has to do with chunks loading in the new area while flying over them?
FYI the realms server doesn't crash, just my game.
Minecraft Bedrock 1.19.51 on Realms on Windows 10 Education edition (PC).
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core 3.20 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080,
16 GB Ram.
I have some updates on this bug, maybe it helps.
Just as a side note, this has not happened on my pc yet but I do notice occasional random stutters when flying that should not happen.
I have been playing a bit on my phone too (always the same world) and i have one area in my world where the crash happened almost 50 percent of times i would cross the region (even when WALKING into the area it often crashed). Again, it usually crashed the entire OS, not only Minecraft. Causing the phone to shut down completely and restart which is very annoying. Crashes happen sometimes randomly in other areas too but that one are where it happened so much has a lava cast. Maybe it could be the many one block holes inside the structure? The area has nothing that would make a crash plausible, no entities etc. It does not cause any FPS drops on my phone, it simply crashes out of nowhere when entering that area half of the times. It does not crash when I play the same world on pc.
The world is about 770 mb in size.
Can you export the world affected and upload it to any shareable site and link here? If not, then please share the world seed and exact coordinates that this occurs on (It can be possible that it is like you mention, the lava cast somehow can crash the game or any other structure within the world, but sometimes structures generated naturally can cause crashes as well).
Is this still an issue as of 1.21.21? If so, then please provide the information that @unknown requested.
