Similar to MCPE-159285. When I try to load my saved game, it is stuck on the Loading Terrain message. I searched and found ways to fix this for Java edition but nothing for Bedrock. Can the game be recovered? This was a single player game, on my Android phone.
The last thing I did was to place skulk catalysts around me. I then got a phone call so had to exit my game, and it wouldn't re load.
Other similar bug reports all mentioned that this issue occurred after dying, but I don't think that happened to me... It is possible I was killed while AFK though.

I accidentally found a workaround for this issue. It worked on my single player Bedrock game on my Android phone, but not sure about other systems.
Try to load the affected saved game. It will hang on the "loading terrain" screen.
Wait until phone screen times out and turns itself off.
Wake the phone, it should open Minecraft again, and resume trying to load the game.
This time the game successfully loaded!
Since this issue is no longer affecting me, this ticket can be closed.
