Allays not following after activating a redstone clock connected to noteblock

When connecting a noteblock into a redstone clock, the Allay will connect to that noteblock as normal.

However, after deactivating the redstone clock, I waited a few seconds and the Allay disconnects from that noteblock, however, the allay stops following me, even if they have an item.

They will still try to pick up the item and drop it off near me, however, their follow behaviour is broken.

Β

I used the comparator clock thing, to make the noteblock constantly attract the allay's attention. there are images of the redstone contraption below.

I hope this helps!

Did you wait 30 seconds before making it follow you?

Considering how long the bug has not been updated, is this still an issue in 1.19.51?
If yes, could you attach the world to your report? If the size is too big to be added here, you can upload it on any shareable site (OneDrive, GoogleDrive) and link it here.Β

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
