I was mining for diamonds when I had died. I raged and quit the game without saving. I calmed down and tried to get back into the world 20 minutes later. Unfortunately I was unable to get back into the world. I tried restarting my MC, restarting my Xbox, clearing local save data, and creating a copy of my world. None of this worked. I have spent over 24 hours on this world, just for it to glitch out in 3 seconds.

You should always "save and quit" before exiting Minecraft. Otherwise the results are unpredictable and can easily result in data loss.
