[MCPE-159840] My world won’t let me join it but lets my friend. My screen stays on the generating world screen.

I was playing yesterday with my friend and right as I was getting off I got killed. Today I keep trying to join that world and even made a copy of it and it won’t let me join. I’m the creator and it stays frozen on the generating world screen, but while it’s stuck on that screen my friend can join and play. I’ve restarted it and it’s up to date.
