Basically, whenever the Host of a non-realm world playing on Nintendo Switch begins typing something to send in chat, all other players receive a major lag spike causing death in-game from jumping off a single block of scaffolding (for some reason), Block respawns and respawns (which have also caused death, in-game), GUI not opening, mobs getting the advantage as you aren't actually moving for them making you an easy hit, and a lot more problems that would probably take a while to list.
Steps to reproduce
1. Join a Nintendo Switch Player's world
2. Wait for them to type in chat
What will happen?
Chances are that other players within this world will experience severe lag, the host's client will remain unaffected.
What should be happening instead?
No lag at all, or at least minor lag that won't cause any major gameplay issues for other players on that world, Realms are unaffected by this as there is no set host.

Here are some safety steps to avoid a laggy death in Survival or Adventure:
1. Don't climb scaffolding if you notice chat lag. (9/10 times you'll take an insane amount of lethal fall damage)
2. Flee from any PvE combat as the mob will get a ton of damage on you as to their AI, you are doing absolutely nothing.
3. Be careful which GUIs you attempt to open during chat lag, it may just open at the wrong moment.
4. Be careful Mining or building as changes to the world (Blocks placed/broken, Redstone activated, etc..) may reset and drop you into lava or enough blocks down to kill or nearly kill.
5. Eat with care, just like world changes it may revert sending you back to whatever hunger level you were at before and possibly lower!
in some situations, it's just terrible, everything freezes up on your client, but it's fine on the host's client
