Why would you report this as a bug, that 1.18.30 fog was obviously unintentional, most likely because they're messing with shaders in that version due to addition of the render dragon, and Java fog looks extremely broken and ugly, it's not even about taste, it just obviously doesn't look okay, that fog looks like it culls clouds while keeping that distance clipping on them, it just looks terrible, clouds fog is supposed to hide that clipping at distance where clouds start cutting off, and that's exactly how it is in current Bedrock versions, and this is how it was ever since clouds we're added to Bedrock Edition, Java should add Bedrock's clouds/fog instead, because not only it looks better, but it's also better in terms of performance.

Angel 96444, are you sure that the fog in the bedrock version is better than the java version, the fog and clouds in the bedrock version are shoddy, if you look closely

@unknown Java clouds are shoddy, there is nothing wrong with Bedrock ones, they look exactly how they are supposed to look like, clouds are not supposed to have lines/gaps on them and weird fog which doesn't even make any sense at all, current Java clouds are obviously broken

Angel 96444, this is completely a mistake of the Bedrock Edition, the clouds should fade away in the distance, the Bedrock Edition of the Java Edition does not behave in the same way in the latest version, stop quibbling

Java Edition clouds will gradually merge with the sky in the distance and then disappear. Bedrock version of the cloud simply disappears in the distance

The rendering of Bedrock Edition is also silly, as some of its faces are seen through when you fly above the clouds

@unknown Java clouds literally cut-off in distance without any fade and are covered with ugly broken fog, and on Bedrock they smoothly fade, if Java clouds are good then explain why every single shader makes them look like Bedrock ones, and even most popular optimization mod changes them to look like they do on Bedrock, this is surprising that someone actually likes these weird Java clouds, they are obviously broken, they literally don't have any smooth transition and just cut-off at distance

Also this bug report is technically invalid because clouds on Bedrock we're like this ever since they have been added, which was obviously before buzzy bees update,

Honestly clouds in bedrock looks way better.
something that bothers me is that many people think that bedrock always has to change to be like java, but sometimes java should change to be like bedrock .
