There is a recurring bug on Minecraft Bedrock Edition where the inventory disappears when you join in the game again but when you try to rejoin back in the inventory reappears. This has happened several times. This only happens with players that join on a session. As far as I know it affects the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X versions, but it could be more versions that is affects. Hopefully this problem can get fixed because it is a real pain.
