I was placing doors in my survival world and placed one where I didn't want it so I broke it with what I had in my hand which was another door. When I broke the door the doors I was holding got a degradation bar and I expirimented with it for awhile and found they go back to normal doors after being placed and picked up again. But like other items with a degradation bar they break when used up and disappear.
