Xbox keyboard overlays text chat

While typing on Xbox with a keyboard, as of the recent hotfix, you can no longer type directly into chat or text boxes (i.e. signs, command blocks, etc.). Instead, the Xbox keyboard pops up. You can type in the Xbox keyboard with your keyboard, however once you enter what you've typed, It will override anything that was originally in the text box. Say, code in a command block. This is a huge issue because if you were to want to change anything with your command in a command block, you'd have to rewrite the entire thing. 

Another issue created by this problem is that we can no longer paste coordinates into chat with the new copy coordinates clipboard. Anytime you press 'Y' to paste your coordinates, the Xbox keyboard pops back up.

I hope this gets resolved, as it's the only real reason I haven't gotten back into Minecraft. All my worlds were corrupted after this update and I lost several years of work. Despite that, I'm ready to start new projects, but this issue is in the way.
