Hello! I just did the nefarious October 5th Update on my Xbox One console and wanted to verify that it is safe to open without fear of losing any of my progress. It did what other users have described (created two Minecraft tiles, had a 0GB update (which turned out to be 1.69GB after digging into the update file), and didn't show any progress for several minutes till it jumped to 69.4%, then finished its update), then one of the tiles went away. Looking at the Xbox Minecraft file in settings, it shows version 1.19.3101.0 as well as 6.1GB of saved data
All that being said, is it safe to launch Minecraft without issue or should I wait to avoid any chances of progress being corrupted?
I've also included a picture of the file info if they might help any. Thank you for all that everyone does!

This also happened to me. Can't use custom resource packs anymore; haven't been able to play Minecraft since then.

I've been able to use custom music disc packs, but not my custom texture pack, however I DID lose all my previous 3 worlds.

Thank you for your report!

I would seriously recommend using a file explorer for xbox and save your world files to a thumb drive before you open the updated game...
