Cannot find or get the updates, what is the reason they are being withheld or how do I get them? I bought my edition from Amazon android app store and everyone but us Amazon people have the update. 😞

I don't know, but not here. The only things that should be here are reports about bugs in the software. I'm sorry. 😞
Amazon may not have updated to 0.6.0 deliberately due to the issues people have experienced with 0.6.0, and may skip to 0.6.1 soon.

This is what Mojang said:Notice for Android users: Starting with this update, Minecraft Pocket Edition will require Android 2.3 or later. This means the game no longer supports Android 2.1 or 2.2, but you will still be able to play older versions of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
